My Younger Cousin's Getting Married?!

Omg, my cousin who is 1 year my junior is getting married! And guess how I came to know about it- on Facebook status updates!

My mum was in a state of disbelief when I related the news to her. She even wagered $100 with me that Wei was having me on (seeing that I'm gullible, she added). So the news from the horse's mouth was confirmed by a phonecall. All of us thought it was too sudden. She still has a year and a half's studies to go through and after all, why the hurry? In the end all us came to accept it as the result of the magic of passion.

I won't be able to attend Wei's wedding as it's supposed to be on 31st Jan 09. I'll be in London Ontario by then. Ah well, the closest cousin I had when I was young...who stuck around me on the few occasions that I went on holiday with her family...who called me anqi-jie affectionately...whom I thought has always been a younger bubbly cousin...is getting married! I still can't quite believe it. Am I still juvenile or has Wei gone ahead of time?

In any case, my mum now owes me $100.
